Sabyasachi Mukherjee is one of India's A-list designers who practically doesn't need an introduction. His handcrafted and intricate designs have not only been the object of affection for a whole generation of Indian brides in India and overseas, but the master craftsman has given Bollywood some magical couture-style costumes. We assure you it is quite the Cinderella story and yes, Sabyasachi plays the fashion world's fairy godmother to all the brides. However, his designs have faced some serious trolling time and again. In early April, Sabyasachi Mukherjee launched his new collection that featured his signature designer sarees. The designer took to Instagram to showcase these handcrafted designs with the caption, "Zari embroidered organza saree, silk blouse and veil with hand cut sequins, worn with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery." The post also notably showed pictures of the model wearing a custom organza silk saree featuring traditional Indian zari embroidery laden with hand-cut sequins and vintage-style stone work. The saree fit was complimented to the T with a matching red-hued silk blouse and an organza veil with a jhumka and maang teeka to go.

All these pretty bridal outfits delivered by the top-notch designer, Sabyasachi makes for all the sugar and spice that is needed to make a bride perfectly ecstatic. But this one looked sad AF and became the starting point for all the drama. This model who posed as a bride looked like a million bucks draped in a Sabyasachi saree which is every girl's dream but looked visibly gloomy.

Some netizens claimed that the model was sad despite wearing a signature Sabyasachi couture ensemble. A few of the other netizens pointed out the fact that the model looked like a 'dukhi aatma' which means 'unhappy soul' in Hindi.
