The ever-so-famous green paisley printed shirt is a part of ace Indian couturier Ritu Kumar's collection and is offered on the design house's website at a premium price point of INR10,000 approximately.

The stalwart designer Ritu Kumar has taken a step ahead and enlightened us regarding the origins of this shirt from the fern laden land of Kashmir. This paisley print design and handwork is signature of the Kashmiri artwork inspired by the flora and fauna of the terrain. The indigenous art form which is called Kani work was in fact traditionally found in shawls and has now found its way in being showcased in garments such as shirts, suits and other couture clothing pieces.
