Paloma Faith Bashes Out 'The Little Mermaid'; Fans Unearth Old Tweet To Call Her Out On Criticism
It's safe to say that Paloma Faith isn't a fan of the new The Little Mermaid movie, with Halle Bailey in the lead role.
The 41-year-old singer and Pennyworth actress took the time out to bash the new movie, calling out its themes of losing your voice over a man.
However, fans have been quick to call her out over her comments, digging up an old tweet of her own about the centuries old fairytale.

While Paloma gave props to Halle for her portrayal of Ariel, the singer said that "as a mother of girls I don't want my kids to think it's ok to give up your entire voice and your powers to love a man."
Following her comments, many The Little Mermaid fans proceeded to call her out over them, and even found an old tweet from 2009 of Paloma's in which she stated that "when i grow up i want to be the little mermaid."
