Bolt Barbers was founded in 2009 by former P&G marketing executive & corporate drop out "Mohawk Matt" during his mid life crisis. Bolt now operates in DTLA and all across Los Angeles County On Safari (a Vintage Mobile Barbershop aboard a 1954 Spartan All Aluminum Travel Trailer). Bolt's mission is stirring the art of old school barbering for the enjoyment and benefit of dudes of all ages while creating community and encouraging them to just be themselves. That's because Bolt IS a third place for dudes to hang after home and work/school. Bolt Barbers was voted Best Barbershop in DTLA by The Downtown News readers for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
