Director (SCAD chapter), founder, girltank University

I am a Georgia native and a 2013 graduate of Spelman College. I have studied ballet and formal dance technique under Kenneth Green, T. Lang, Meredith Moore, Otis Sallid and Kathleen Wessel. I also performed with the Spelman College Dance Theatre Company for three years of my undergraduate career and choreographed for four of the concerts presented during my time with the company. In my spare time, I perform dance outreach in my hometown of Greensboro, Georgia for underserved, rural youth during the summer season and offer affordable dance programming to children in the area throughout the school year. I received a Masters degree in Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2015. During this time at the institution, I chartered the first SCAD chapter of girltank. I am currently a Masters candidate for Luxury and Fashion Management at SCAD, and I work as the Director of the SCAD chapter of girltank. Most recently, I founded girltank University – my goal is to help create changemaking opportunities for young female social entrepreneurs on campuses across the country.
